The Whiteman Area has plenty of hobby groups via Facebook to connect you with other residents of the WAFB Area.
This is a kid/ toddler playgroup for MILITARY children under school age and open to all military families in and around Whiteman AFB. We will plan to meet a few times a month. We will either meet in the community (park/movie/etc.) or at someone's home. It is up to the host if they want to plan a craft/theme or if we will just hang out at their home! As we get this group going, we will see what everyone is comfortable with and if anyone has any other ideas. This playgroup is all about getting moms/dads and little kids out of the house to have fun with others in their community. I can't wait to meet everyone and for us to work together to make this a community of families supporting each other.

Whiteman Green Thumbs and Produce Exchange
A place where members can share pictures of their beautiful yards, seek gardening advice, and buy/sell home-grown produce.
Running Whiteman is a Free running club for military spouses and their family members. Our goal is to help military families live healthier lives through fitness and friendships, with the intent to encourage and support one another along their fitness journey!
Come join Whiteman Running Raiders (WRR) as we promote healthy family of running community on base! We highly encourage all runners of different paces and distances to meet up and find old/new friends alike. We will also promote local runs, and if you have suggestions, please share the event on this page and we can create a team to get discounts! You don't have to run it by yourself; more the merrier! We try to have runs and events scheduled weekly, but it is on volunteer basis. If you are looking for a trail running buddy or want to run a specific route, please post!
Ages 21+ Only! Whiteman AFB, Knob Noster, Warrensburg and Sedalia only! Towns in between on 50 highway are okay, as well! Military affiliation only! You must have base access!
These monthly gatherings allow spouses to relax in a comfortable setting, share advice, learn about local events, and make new friends over a cup of coffee. Spouses are encouraged to come as they are or bring other military spouses with them to join in on the friendly conversation. Each Coffee Connections location has put their own spin on these events, allowing spouses to connect in a variety of ways through conversation, crafts, local community outings, and more.
This group is designed for current and future members who will be stationed at Whiteman AFB, MO. This group is to ask questions about the area, get to know the base and its surroundings, and help newcomers adjust and learn about Whiteman AFB, make new friends, and make their transition a lot easier and less stressful. Let's help each other make our time at Whiteman fun and memorable for us all.
Whiteman AFB Rocks! is about making memories, meeting new people, having fun & spreading happiness. Some rocks will never be seen on the group for various reasons - the finder is not a member, no camera, no time to post, technically challenged, people with troubled hearts that take the rocks. This doesn't mean the rocks went unloved but that they had another purpose.

Our programs and services include training and information to help you identify and reach your employment and career development goals, manage employment challenges associated with a mobile lifestyle, and develop job search skills. Career consultants provide career planning classes, career counseling, local labor market information, employment trend tracking, skills and interests identification, job bank referrals, resources for self-employment, and much more.

As the MFRC states, "The Key Spouse Program is a partnership between the Key Spouse, organizational leadership, and the Military and Family Readiness Center. Key Spouses are volunteers appointed by Command and work closely with organizational leadership. Key Spouses are trained to become the focal point for community resources. The goal for Airman & Family Readiness employment resources is to support service members, recovering service members (RSMs), military spouses and dependents, retired members, and Department of Defense (DoD) civilians with achieving short and long-term employment, education/training, and career goals.
This resource is an educational and inspirational guide for today's Air and Space Force spouses. It is designed in three sections to teach spouses how to build a strong network, understand the resources available to them, and provide a firm foundation of support as spouses navigate their milspouse journey.
